GDW Engineering was successful in being awarded a lump sum high and low voltage design and construct project at Moolarben Coal near Mudgee NSW.
The scope involved at a high level:
- Two kilometer's of 11KV HV cable trenching, installation and backfill
- Full electrical design drawings for the package
- Engineering studies including arc flash, protection and earthing.
- Procurement of MCC, Switch room, LCS’s, instruments and cable
- High voltage terminations and QA
- Low termination and QA
- Installation and commissioning of schneider RM6 RMU’s and 11/415V Wilson transformers
- Installation and commissioning of schneider RM6 RMU’s and 11/415V Wilson transformers
- Risk assessment facilitation
- Lighting design and installation
- Instrumentation calibrations
- MDR and handover package
- Operator training
