GDW Engineering successfully completed the design and construction of an upgrade to new energy efficient lighting at the Port of Newcastle without incident to high quality, safety and environmental compliance requirements in line with our ISO triple certified management system.
Working with Coolon Lighting the project delivered significant immediate cost and environmental benefits to our client. In the first 12 months of operation Port of Newcastle will reduce their carbon footprint by 178 tonnes, save 241 man hours, reduce their annual operating cost by $107,416, and gain a return on investment within 2.4 years of operation.
